Growing up in Maryland
When I lived in Maryland and was in elementary school, I learned how important accountability & responsibility were when it came to caring for my own pets. My first two pets were a long haired black and white Turkish Angora named Phoebe & a guinea pig named Buffy.
Growing up in my house was never boring! Thanks to my brother, the house was literally a zoo; we had cats, dogs, hedgehogs, reptiles (bearded dragons, iguanas, snakes), small mammals (ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas), and even some farm animals (chickens, ponies, cows, goats) in our backyard!
The Back Story Of How It All Started…

The pet sitting legacy back story starts in Maryland
My journey as a pet sitter started in Maryland as a fun little side hustle in 2012 while I studied social work in college. I started pet sitting for one of my former coworkers and for her neighbor who both had cats and dogs. I then continued to pet sit for them every summer until the summer of 2015. Little did I know back then that pet sitting would be my true calling.
Ruh-Roh! I was on a break!
Beginning of November 2016, I moved to St. Johns, Florida with my parents, some of my siblings, and our two family dogs at the time.
I was getting acclimated to the area & was jumping around with hospitality and social work field type of jobs. I didn’t start pet sitting again until mid-2017 to supplement my income.
My Florida life as of 2017
When I started my side hustle back up, my pet sitting life in Florida was starting to grow. I have gone around Jacksonville, St. Johns, and a little bit around Clay County. I love exploring & learning about the areas I was pet sitting in.
I continued to side hustle my pet sitting business from 2017 to summer to 2024. I worked full time as a special education paraprofessional (teacher aide) where addressing human behavior & learning the quality of patience were essential components.
Then, in August 2024, I took the leap of faith to pet sit full time. 🥳
I love treating every pet like they’re a celebrity by giving them their own VIP (Very Important Pet) treatment—with patience, playfulness, and with love & empathy.

I’ve combined my background in social work and special education with my passion for animals to offer anxiety focused pet care to help the pets & their pawrents.
By having patience, an understanding behaviors, and focusing on attuning to each pets’ needs while also maintaining their routine, the amount of anxiety reduces significantly, and all pets become more comfortable in their home environment, and all parties are happy.
